To give an answer to violent behavior it has been taken into consideration the way on which the self is structured according to the biological theory if the mind by Alba Bernardini. This new theory overturns the traditional concept of the mental process and it gives a new interpretation to the origin of the thought and the language too. Also, this point of view provides a scientific ground to the Freud’ hint: the man and the society share the same psychological process.
The current technological society has been investigated into its particular aspects. The key aspects investigated are the following: 1) the rise steep of the F81 students’ rate, 2) the children’ disconnection from the reality and the rising connection to the virtual reality by smartphones, video games, mass media ecc., 3) the bullying, cyberbullying, 4) the gambling dependence. To investigate how the use of technological tools can affect the self’ structure and the cognitive psychological process was the goal of this study.
The conclusions bring us to maintain the prevalent display to visual and auditory information to the detriment to perceptive-motor experiences, gives rise (causes) an inadequate/insufficient cognitive process, learning difficulties, and unfit, violent behaviours. As now the research is able to give a scientific answer to this, a preventive and/or re-educative program is possible. The education system (school) properly updated on the teaching method is the path to follow.
